so today I would like to share something especially for Ramadhan.

Suhoor (The Pre-Dawn Meal)
For suhoor, it is imperative to drink plenty of water, eat a good blend of protein, carbohydrates, and essential fat. That’s right, “good fats” have many fat-burning and muscle-building properties, and their importance is even greater during Ramadan. Some good suhoor foods include:
  • Egg whites (1 yolk)
  • Chicken breast
  • Oatmeal ( something to eat when I'm in a rush )
  • Cream of wheat
  • Protein shake ( maybe I'll skip this)
  • Cinnamon
  • Bananas
  • Raw, dark Honey
  • Raisins or dates
  • Fibrous vegetables –This will help increase the feeling of fullness as well.
  • All natural peanut butter
  • Flax seed oil
  • Olive oil – preferably extra virgin (which means it’s cold processed and the essential fatty acids are preserved)
  • Plenty of water
It is important to take a solid multi-vitamin, multi-mineral supplement with suhoor as well to make sure daily minimum requirements of key nutrients are met. Avoid high sodium foods like soups, sauces, condiments, gravies, high sodium bread products, and canned meats. Of course eating fried foods and heavy oil items can cause heartburn and problems for you all day so it is best to avoid those if possible!

Top 5 Healthy Foods to eat During Ramadan
  1. Dates – They contain a unique blend of glucose and fructose and have a very high potassium content (about 64% more than bananas). They have a nutrient called beta-D-glucan which is a soluble fiber that has health benefits and can increase the feeling of fullness.
  2. Raw, Unfiltered Honey – This contains many phytochemicals and flavonoids that can enhance health. Honey is very good for increasing energy. It is an excellent source of antioxidants. In fact, ORAC tests show it has the highest level of antioxidants of virtually any natural food on earth! It even has anti-bacterial effects. Take 1-2 tablespoons daily.
  3. Fish – Eating fish regularly can have positive effects on health. The fish oils EPA and DHA have been shown to improve brain function, enhance cardiovascular health, and reduce inflammation among other things. Some of the best fish are cold water wild salmon, orange roughy, deep sea cod, sea bass, ahi tuna, mahi mahi, and tilapia.
  4. Figs – They contain key mineral such as calcium, iron, magnesium, and potassium. They are also a great source of fiber and can support healthy blood sugar levels. Figs are an alkaline food which means they help balance the Ph of the body making it less acidic.
  5. Olive Oil - Contains omega 9 or oleic fatty acids. It has been shown to increase the good cholesterol (HDL) while lowering bad cholesterol (LDL). It also seems to have some antioxidant effects. Look for extra virgin olive oil (cold-pressed). Cooking with it can lower some of its benefits. Add it to food after it is cooked!

do you realize I put the sources of information I got every time I copy and paste the information?
its because its not my work, its somebody else. you might thinks its really a small matter to fuss over but
if you can't make yourself to practice all these little ethics, how do you expect to fully discipline yourself?? how would you feel if somebody take your works and casually put his name on it without crediting it to you?
start with all these little things before you going to do all those big thing. let me share this story about others right.

"Semasa Nabi Isa berjalan disatu kawasan perkuburan ia terdengar suara dari dalam satu kubur suara lelaki yang menjerit jerit meminta tolong dan dalam kesakitan yang amat sangat...
Nabi Isa ingin mengetahui apakah yang telah terjadi kepada nya.

Sebagaimana yang kita tahu nabi Allah Isa mempunyai mukjizat boleh menghidupkan orang yang sudah mati. Maka nabi Allah Isa pun memohon doa kepada Allah swa sambil menadahkan tangannya kelangit supaya menghidupkan lelaki tersebut.

Doa nya dimakbul oleh Allah maka terbelah kubur itu dan keluarlah seorang lelaki yang sedang terbakar menjerit-menjerit meminta tolong. Melihat akan keadaan lelaki tersebut maka ditanya oleh nabi Isa kepada lelaki itu apakah kamu tidak sembahyang sehingga kamu diseksa sebegini lelaki itu menjawab..bahawa ia tidak meninggalkan sembahyang ditanya lagi oleh nabi Isa adakah kamu tidak berpuasa.. lelaki itu menjawab...saya berpuasa dan lelaki itu pun berkata sesungguhnya ia taat akan perintah Allah....

Maka ditanya oleh nabi Isa lagi apakah yang kamu lakukan sehingga kamu diseksa sebegitu rupa ?

Maka bercerita lah lelaki itu...
Saya berkerja sebagai penjual kayu api dan saya akan mencari kayu api di hutan dan menjualkannya kepada sesiapa yang hendak membelinya. Maka pada suatu hari datanglah seorang pembeli menemuinya utk membeli kayu api lalu diberinya wang dan disuruhnya hantar ke rumahnya.

Maka pergilah saya mencari kayu dihutan dan apabila sudah dapat seberkas kayu di ikat nya elok-elok dan pergi lah saya hendak menghantar ke rumah si pembeli itu..
Dipertengahan jalan saya merasa lapar dan terus lah saya berhenti untuk makan....
selepas itu saya pun meneruskan perjalanan ke rumah pembeli kayu itu.

Sedang saya berjalan, saya terasa ada sisa makanan yang terselit dicelah gigi saya maka dicuba berbagai cara mengeluarkan nya dengan lidah tetapi tak berjaya....
kemudian dicubanya dengan menggunakan kukunya ...tetapi tak berjaya juga.

Akhirnya saya pun dengan menggunakan kuku saya mencungkil kayu api yang dipikul itu utk dibuat mencungkil gigi. Maka akhirnya dapatlah mengeluarkannya.

Maka saya teruskan perjalanan dan setelah sampai kerumah si pembeli itu, saya pun menyerah kan kayu api itu dan terus pulang.

Oleh kerana saya tidak meminta halal akan kayu yang saya cungkil dengan kuku saya tu maka saya diseksa selama 70 tahun sebagaimana yang tuan lihat.
Saya menyangka Allah tidak melihat akan perkara yang sekecil ini.... "
